Meeting GTR about rail disruption, Gatwick Airport about aircraft noise and the Housing Secretary

On Wednesday Nick will meet senior representatives of GTR to discuss the local rail situation – see here for a full list of Nick’s actions on the recent rail disruption. 

He will then attend meet representatives from Gatwick Airport, NATS, and the CAA about noise issues at Gatwick Airport.  He recently wrote an article about this which you can read here.  

In the afternoon Nick will attend a campaign event run by consumer group, Which? about the cutting of free-to-use cash machines on high streets, which are vitally important in rural communities such as Henfield.

Following this, Nick will meet Paul Dillane, Director of Kaleidoscope Trust, to discuss the Government’s newly-launched LGBT Action Plan.  Nick is chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Global LGBT Rights.  In the evening, Nick has a meeting with Communities & Housing Secretary, James Brokenshire, to discuss planning issues.  You can read his latest speech on the issue here. ­­­
